Volt- The First 2,000 Miles (Part 2)

Now let’s talk about a few things NOT to like about the Chevy Volt.  Here are a couple that bother me a bit.

The Gearshift Lever:

When shifting into Park, the lever slides into a recessed area underneath the dash.  The hole it slides into is just a bit too small.  I have a rather small fist and I still have to be careful not to bust a knuckle.

What looks like a crack on the lever is some sort of weird reflection from the camera flash.

Poor Visibility:

The visibility out of the back of the Volt is quite awful with big blind spots on both the left and the right.  This is a view taken from the rear view mirror.  The Volt makes a pretty good compensation for this by providing large side view mirrors.
