For who knows what reason Theresa wanted to go to the Galveston Pleasure Pier. While the mind can conjure up many grand schemes fitting for the term Pleasure Pier, it is in fact a cheesy tourist attraction on the gulf side of Galveston Island owned by Landry Restaurants.
Here is the entrance to the Pleasure Pier featuring Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. There is nothing quite like naming a business after a hit motion picture. Not all movies are appropriate though. “Fear Strikes Out” would make a sorry name for a business.
