Twenty-first Century Technology Part 1

The Turbospoke Classic

This is part 1 of a series I plan on twenty-first century technology.  I don’t know if there will ever be a part 2, but for sure this is the first on and hence, Part 1.

Our children and our grandchildren have been blessed with the finest in technology.  They got smart phones, they got IPads, and they got Twitter and Snapchat.  Hell, they even got cigarettes that they don’t have to set on fire!

Ladies and gentlemen, I present for your ridicule the Turbospoke Classic!

This cunning little device attaches to the bicycle frame and holds a card in place to be excited by the wheel spokes to give the bike the sound of thunder in a canyon.  You can be the baddest little one percenter in your neighborhood!

dan napoleonOf course we had a solution to this problem when we were kids.  It was simply a clothes pin and a baseball card.  When I was doing this I always used a baseball card of some obscure player like Danny Napoleon.  Why waste a Mickey Mantle, Willy Mays or even a John Bateman?

But wait, there’s more.  The twenty-first century has brought us a startling break thru in bicycle fake motorcycle noise technology.
