Yesterday was the first nice day of the year so we took advantage of it by making a trip down to NASA to see our wonderful new fake Space Shuttle. It seems that folks around here like fakes. Back in 1984 we had none other than a fake coral snake on display at the Houston Zoo.
This coral snake looks very life like. Well, ok, it’s real.
We are also home to a boatload of plastic surgeons.

The Space Shuttle Shuttler is driven by 4 honking big Pratt & Whitney JT9D engines. You can clearly see the fan blades but behind that is an empty shell.
The engineers that designed the Space Shuttle Shuttler used to work for Harley Davidson.
