Golly, gee whiz, wow. It has been over a year since I have written anything for this space.

I sometimes have trouble getting my arms around just how lazy I can be.

Well ok, fine. I am back, at least for a while.

Breaking news today is that Prince Harry and wifey Megan were chased around by some paparazzi last night. CNN is running around like headless chickens on this story. Yep, white haired man, we remember how his momma died.

Last summer I was binge watching this TV show, Suits. I thought I recognized one of the characters, but it was about halfway through the season when I realized it was Markle.

I have been observing all the ballyhoo going on about AI. To relieve some of my boredom last night I asked ChatGPT to write a poem about little ol’ me.

I present it here for your amusement.

Well. it has been one week since the debacle in Dallas.

Soooner fans have been hoping that in Brent Venables we would have the second coming of Bob Stoops.

Now we wonder if we are having the second coming of John Blake. Or worse. (Sooner fans do not speak nor write his name.)

Now here comes the Kansas Jayhawks to town. The Jayhawks have been quite awful over the past dozen years or so. But they have their coach of the future who has brought them success. Lance Leipold is in his second season leading the Jayhawks and he has them progressing on the shining path to victory.

Leipold brings a highly successful record as a Division III coach after leading the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to no less than 6 National Championships. Consider that Division III crowns a real champion after a real 64 team playoff.

Let’s hope for the best today. The game is at 11:00 Central on ESPN 2. Boomer Sooner.

Well, OK fine. The 2022 edition of the Red River Shootout is history, and the Oklahoma Sooners are officially in the crapper after a 49-0 beatdown from the Horns. Brent Venables is clearly not the savior we expected he would be. Certainly, one could say that those were unreasonable expectations.

To be fair. Maybe Texas is back.

Back east, the RPI Engineers plopped a 42-14 decision on hapless Buffalo State. Go Big Red!
