Well, almost everyone is talking about it and it is all over the TV during this 50th anniversary of the assassination.
I was 10 years old and in the 5th grade at Cleveland Elementary School. It was a cold and wet day in Oklahoma City. Because of this we were taking our lunch time recess inside. We had the television on and I was playing with Lincoln Logs when Walter Cronkite made the announcement of the president’s death.
I had a few more things to write about this but we had a power failure last night while I was writing and I lost my thoughts. It may come back to me later.
