Texas Wildflowers

Well, it’s Spring again and time to turn our thoughts to love, spring football, baseball, and Texas wildflowers.  (did I mention spring football?)

Texans are proud of their wildflowers and rightfully so because they show up, drought or flood, right on schedule every year.  The most common Texas wildflower in the venerable Bluebonnet.  Acres of these beauties appear annually within a 50 mile drive northwest of Houston.  Here are some pics:
